Boxhagener Platz hosts a popular food market on Saturdays and a well-loved flea market on Sundays. You can also easily reach the Spree riverfront, RAW Gelände with its open-air bars and clubs, the East Side Gallery, and the Uber Arena for concerts and events.
The area is highly walkable — bars, restaurants, cafés, and nightlife are all within a few minutes of the flat. Street parking is available but expensive due to the central location; there is a parking garage within a 10-minute walk that is more economical.

“I can't recommend this wonderful apartment enough. The neighborhood of Friedrichshain is incredible and the apartment is in the middle of everything — weekend market at Boxhagener Platz, amazing coffee at Blau Boehne, multiple great restaurants within walking distance. The place itself is very comfortable and quiet. Super clean and everything we needed. I would return here in a heartbeat. Wish I lived here!”
